These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Kismat Konnection (the "App"), operated by Kismat Konnection, based in Paris, France ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Kismat Konnection. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and about yourself — not on behalf of anyone else. Accounts are created through Google Sign-In; you are responsible for the security of that Google account.
Every account is reviewed by our team before it is activated, including the photos and verification video you submit. We may decline to activate, or may request that you resubmit, any account that does not meet our standards.
Kismat Konnection uses an AI system to read your profile, your conversation with Kismat AI, and your photos to propose an introduction it believes is genuinely worthwhile — one at a time, reviewed and approved by our team before either person sees it. You may talk to your match by text, photo, or one-time voice message, and may be shown a suggested venue and time to meet in person.
You are solely responsible for anything you upload, submit, or send through the App, including photos, your verification video, voice messages, and chat content ("User Content"). You represent that you own or have the right to share your User Content, and that it does not violate any law or any other person's rights.
You agree to use the App respectfully and honestly — accurate photos of yourself, truthful answers, and no impersonation of another person.
Kismat Konnection introduces people. It does not supervise, chaperone, or take part in what happens next. We are not a party to any conversation, arrangement, relationship, or meeting between users, and we are not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or in person.
You and the other person are each solely responsible for your own conduct and decisions — what you say, what you agree to, whether you meet, where you meet, and what happens if you do.
What our review does and does not cover. We check submitted photos and a short verification video to confirm an account belongs to a real person. That is an anti-impersonation check and nothing more. We do not run criminal background checks, sex-offender registry checks, credit checks, or identity-document verification, and we cannot confirm that anyone is who they claim to be, is single, is honest about their intentions, or is safe to meet. A reviewed account is not a vouch, an endorsement, or a safety guarantee.
You assume all risk arising from your interactions with other users, including any in-person meeting, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Sensible precautions, which we strongly encourage: meet in a public place the first few times, arrange your own transport there and back, tell a friend or family member where you are going and who with, keep your address and workplace private until you genuinely trust someone, do not send money to anyone you have met here for any reason, and leave immediately if you feel uncomfortable. If someone behaves badly, block and report them in the App so we can review the account.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any introduction will lead to any particular outcome.
Please read this section carefully. It limits what you can recover from us.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kismat Konnection and its operators, owners, employees and contractors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of profits, emotional distress, personal injury, or death — arising out of or connected with: your use of or inability to use the App; the conduct of any other user, online or in person; any introduction, match, message, or meeting arising from the App; any information another user provides about themselves; or your reliance on anything shown in the App, including any suggested venue or meeting time.
Any dispute you have with another user is between you and that user. You release Kismat Konnection and its operators from any claim arising out of such a dispute, and agree not to bring one against us for the acts or omissions of another user.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or fifty euros (€50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where that is the case, those exclusions do not apply to you and our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by the applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kismat Konnection from any claim, loss, or damage, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
You agree not to: impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, or intentions; harass, threaten, or abuse another user; post content that is illegal, obscene, or exploitative; use the App for commercial solicitation, advertising, or scams; attempt to circumvent our verification or safety review process; or use automated tools to access or scrape the App.
Violating any of these terms may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal of your account.
The Kismat Konnection name, logo, and App design are the property of Kismat Konnection. You retain ownership of your own User Content, but grant us a limited license to use it solely to operate the App — including showing your profile to a match and using it internally for AI-based matching.
We may suspend or permanently remove any account that violates these Terms, is reported for concerning behavior, or that we determine poses a risk to other users, at our discretion. You may delete your own account at any time from within the App or through our public account-deletion page.
If a dispute arises, please contact us first through the App’s Support feature so we can try to resolve it directly. Most problems are settled that way.
If we cannot resolve it between us and you are a consumer in the European Union, you may refer the dispute to a consumer mediator, or use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
We do not require you to arbitrate, and nothing here removes your right to go to court. As a consumer you keep the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or connected with them or with your use of the App, are governed exclusively by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules and without the application of the law of any other country.
The courts of Paris, France have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute. By using the App you agree that any claim against Kismat Konnection or its operators must be brought there, and not in the courts of any other country.
Where the App is available, or where you happen to live, does not change this. The App being reachable in — or its content being written for people in — any other country does not subject Kismat Konnection or its operators to that country’s laws or courts.
There is one exception, because the law requires it: if you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you keep the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in its courts, and we will bring any claim against you there. Nothing in these Terms removes a right that cannot lawfully be removed.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kismat Konnection regarding the App.
