1.Introduction & Scope

Kismat Konnection ("Kismat Konnection," "we," "us," or "our") is an AI-matched introduction service, based in New York, New York, United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Kismat Konnection mobile application (the "App"), why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By creating an account, you agree to the practices described here.

This Policy covers only our data practices. For the rules around using the App itself — acceptable conduct, liability, and disputes — see our Terms of Service.

2.Information We Collect

We collect only what the service genuinely needs to work:

• Account basics — your name and email address, provided by Google Sign-In. We do not support or store passwords.
• Profile information — your age, gender, profession, and the structured preferences you tap through during onboarding (things like relationship intent, lifestyle facts, and dealbreakers). These answers are used only for matching and are never shown to anyone you're matched with.
• Photos and a short verification video — used to confirm you're a real person and to show your matches who you are.
• Voice notes and chat content — anything you type, photograph, or record within onboarding or a match conversation.
• Location — approximate or precise location, used only to find matches within your chosen distance. Your exact location is never shown to another user.
• Conversations with Kismat AI — what you tell our in-app AI assistant, used to understand you well enough to propose a genuine match.
• Technical and safety information — basic device and crash information, and records of reports or blocks you file, used to keep the platform safe.

3.How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: operate and improve the matching service; have Kismat AI evaluate compatibility and propose introductions; verify that accounts belong to real people; facilitate conversations between matched users; respond to support requests; investigate reports of abuse or policy violations; and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information to send you marketing email or push notifications — we don't send either, to anyone, for any reason. Checking the App itself is the only way you'll ever see a new match.

4.Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes. Information is shared only in these limited circumstances:

• With a match — once an introduction is approved, your match sees your profile, photos, and whatever you choose to share in conversation. Your private onboarding answers to Kismat AI are never shown to them.
• Service providers — infrastructure providers (database hosting, AI processing) that help us operate the App, bound to use your information only to provide that service.
• Legal reasons — if required by law, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
• With your consent — any other sharing you explicitly agree to.

5.Data Security

Your information is encrypted in transit and stored with a provider that enforces strict access controls. Access to user data internally is limited to what's needed for moderation, safety review, and support. No system is perfectly secure, and we continually work to improve our safeguards.

6.Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile, photos, verification video, matches, and chat history are permanently erased. Some records — such as safety reports involving your account — may be retained in anonymized form for trust-and-safety purposes even after deletion.

7.Your Rights & Choices

You can review and update most of your profile information at any time from within the App. You may delete your account at any time — either from within the App or through our public account-deletion page — which permanently erases your data as described above. If you have questions about your data, reach us through the App's Support feature.

8.Cookies & Tracking

The Kismat Konnection mobile app does not use third-party advertising trackers. This website uses no tracking cookies and no analytics beyond what's necessary to serve the pages themselves.

9.Children's Privacy

Kismat Konnection is intended for adults 18 years of age and older only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly. See our Child Safety Standards page for how to report a concern.

10.International Data Transfers

Kismat Konnection is based in the United States, and your information may be processed and stored in the United States or by service providers operating elsewhere. By using the App, you consent to this transfer and processing.

11.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Policy.

12.Contact & Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Kismat Konnection is based in New York, New York.
